It was a pleasure to welcome students to the courthouse as part of Bring Your Child to Work Day.

Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to learn about the judicial system, observe courtroom proceedings, and participate in a mock trial—the Case of the Stolen Mascot Costume. Taking on roles as prosecutors, defense attorneys, and jurors, they experienced firsthand how the justice system works.

Programs like this provide a meaningful introduction to civic responsibility and the importance of fairness, respect, and the rule of law. It was rewarding to see so many young students engaged, curious, and eager to learn.
