Honoring the Legacy of Brigade 2506

I had the privilege of attending the opening of the Brigade 2506 Museum, marking the 65th anniversary of the Bay of Pigs invasion.

This was a meaningful event recognizing the courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of the brigadistas. Their commitment to freedom continues to inspire generations.

This event holds special meaning for my family, as my wife’s uncle, Ruben De Quesada, was among those who served in Brigade 2506.

Congratulations to everyone involved in preserving this important chapter of history.
